Job DetailsJob Location: Evangelical Home Saline - Saline, MI 48176Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: 2 Year DegreeTravel Percentage: NoneJob Shift: DayJob Category: NurseEHM Senior Solutions is looking for a compassionate and experienced Nurse Unit Manager (LPN/RN) to provide leadership and clinical oversight for a skilled nursing unit. This role is responsible for coordinating resident care, supervising nursing staff, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting the highest standards of quality care and resident satisfaction. Job duties are, but not limited to: Oversight of and coordination of care for the facility’s resident population, including supervision of the nurses and CNAs who work on the resident units. Participate in daily IDT meetings, resident care conferences, and other daily/weekly meetings as necessary.  Assist in the development of preliminary and comprehensive assessments of the nursing needs of each client ensuring care plan development that is individualized for each client’s needs. Assist in developing and monitoring staff skill and competency in meeting care needs. Make written and oral reports/recommendations to the Director of Nursing Services as necessary/required, concerning the operation of the clinical services team. Determine the appropriate staffing levels for the census and acuity level provided. Communication with residents and families to ensure high levels of satisfaction are maintained, as well as to receive and resolve grievances that occur. Full-time: Monday - Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm with rotating weekend and on-call requirements. QualificationsRequirements Licensure/Certification: Must possess a current LPN or RN license in the State of Michigan in good standing Education: LPN or RN program completion Previous work experience: Minimum 2-years of nursing experience in a skilled nursing facility Minimum 1-year supervisory experience Prior knowledge of: Nursing practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations and guidelines that pertain to long-term care. Skills Necessary: Ability to multitask, prioritize & problem solve Strong work ethic Passion for senior living and skilled nursing industry Strong organizational, communication & conflict resolution skills Ability to work independently Ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team Excellent observation and assessment skills Basic computer knowledge (Word, Outlook, Excel)
