LifeStar Response is looking for an Ambulance Vehicle Supply Technician to support daily field operations. This role is ideal for an experienced EMS professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can quickly respond to changing operational needs, and takes pride in keeping crews, vehicles, equipment, and supplies ready for service.

You’ll play a hands-on role in staffing support, vehicle readiness, field employee safety, supply management, end-of-shift operations, and communication between field crews, Dispatch, Scheduling, Operations, and Risk Management.

What You'll Do

  • Assist with the efficient deployment of field staff and vehicles.
  • Staff an ambulance or other vehicle when needed, provided you hold the appropriate credentials.
  • Coordinate vehicle movements and communicate operational changes promptly to Dispatch.
  • Deliver supplies and equipment to field crews to minimize downtime and lost unit hours.
  • Prepare vehicles for deployment and ensure crews have the appropriate equipment and supplies.
  • Conduct vehicle and equipment inspections to ensure units are clean, stocked, operational, and ready for service.
  • Supervise end-of-shift Load-In procedures.
  • Maintain accountability for supply inventory.

Requirements

  • Emergency Medical Technician Certification strongly preferred.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with Dispatch, Scheduling, Operations, and field crews.
  • Strong attention to detail and accountability for documentation, equipment, vehicles, and supplies.
  • Ability to work independently while also functioning as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to safely operate company vehicles as required.
  • Ability to lift up to 125 pounds.
  • Requires to stand, lift, move, reach, stoop, and move in and out of vehicles on a regular basis.
  • Rotating Day Shift Schedule, 12 hours per day.

The Right Fit

You’re someone who sees what needs to be done and gets it done. You can move between supporting Dispatch, helping a crew, checking a vehicle, responding to an incident, or solving a staffing issue without losing sight of safety, compliance, or patient care.

Most importantly, you understand that strong field operations start with prepared crews, reliable vehicles, the right equipment, and clear communication.

Why Join LifeStar Response?

At LifeStar Response, your work directly supports the crews who provide care to our communities every day. This is a hands-on operational role where you can make an immediate impact on safety, readiness, efficiency, and the overall field experience.

If you're an EMS professional who enjoys being the person everyone can count on when things get busy, we'd love to hear from you.
