Best-One Tire & Service in Chariton is hiring a Commercial & Ag Tire Road Service Technician. You’ll drive an assigned service truck, respond to roadside calls, work on commercial and agricultural tires, and enjoy a job where no two days are the same. Pay up to $26/hour based on experience, with additional earning opportunities through optional night and weekend work.

What you'll earn: 

$22-$26 per hour, based on experience and tire service background

Optional night and weekend fleet work available for additional pay.

Service Work

· Install, repair, rotate, balance, and replace commercial and agricultural tires

· Perform roadside tire service and emergency tire replacement

· Conduct fleet and equipment tire inspections

· Recommend repairs and preventive tire maintenance

Customer Service 

· Respond promptly to service calls

· Communicate clearly with customers and teammates

· Complete service paperwork accurately

Equipment & Safety

· Operate and maintain an assigned heavy-duty service truck

· Use tire service equipment safely and correctly

· Keep tools, equipment, and vehicle clean and organized

What we're looking for:

· At least 18 years of age

· Valid driver's license required

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Positive attitude and the ability to relate well with other team members and customers

· Helpful experience (we can train the right person)

   - Commercial Tire Service

   - Agricultural or farm equipment tires

   - Heavy equipment or diesel service 

   - Automotive or truck repair

   - Service truck or field service work

· Physical requirements: 

   - Lift and carry items up to 50 lbs regularly

   - Stand for extended periods

   - Bend, kneel, squat, crouch, and climb as needed 

   - Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
