Industry Code: Wholesale Trade 424000 Non-Durable Goods Job Code: A9E53-3031(05) FLSA Status: Non-Exempt (Flux Pay Structure Preferred/Hourly) Department: Sales Distribution Department of Labor: 53-3031 DRIVER/SALES WORKERS WHOLESALE TRADE SOC 913 Description: Drive a delivery truck with a capacity of less than 26,000 pounds gross vehicle weight (GVW). Load/unload product at customer locations for established routes by driving a box truck or tractor-trailer. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Services customers assigned to the route based on the scheduled time-stopped ranking. Must adapt to any changes in work assignments as well as support organizational restructuring efforts. Follow accounts receivable guidelines set by the trade/customer when checking in orders (DSD, PO#, Military, Receipt, or Stamp) with the customer. Place the product in our designated area and/or move the pallet display directly to the floor. Pick up all shells/flats, returned pallets, and damaged or out-of-date products. Merchandise assigned stops as scheduled per management. Communicates issues, problems, or opportunities with the sales team and delivery team. Follows all company policies and procedures set forth by management.
