Description

WE ARE HIRING - Experienced part-time driver for patient and medication transport. This is a great "second" job or for supplemental income! 


We are looking for a dedicated driver (who is 21+ Years Old) to provide safe transportation for our patients and medication using the company vehicles.

Hours needed are from 12Noon - 8pm, weekend availability a plus.

Demonstrated driving experience. Previous driving experience preferred. Must be willing to work as needed.

Accredited by The Joint Commission, Hudson Behavioral Health is a 501(c)(3), non-profit organization providing behavioral health treatment in Salisbury, Maryland. Since its inception in 1980, Hudson Behavioral Health has been providing cutting edge treatment for Substance Use and other co-occurring disorders. Our services include Detoxification, Inpatient Rehabilitation, Partial Hospitalization, Treatment, 3.1 Housing, and Outpatient Mental Health.


Drivers must know and follow safety regulations and state laws while operating the vehicle. You will be responsible for making sure the vehicle is travel ready, maintain accurate driving logs and vehicle cleanliness. Establish rapport with patients ad maintain communication throughout the trip. Must demonstrate flexibility in schedule depending on patient needs.


Other Responsibilities include:

  • Safely drive vehicle to planned destination while ensuring safe arrival of patients.
  • Ensure that timely schedules are met.
  • Complete pre-trip safety inspection of the vehicle.
  • Maintain cleanliness of vehicle at end of each trip, and making sure vehicle is fueled.
  • Ability to be flexible with a varying work schedule
  • Excellent customer service a must.


Requirements

Qualifications:

Demonstrated driving experience.

Must possess a High School Diploma or GED or successfully pass an approved basic skills/proficiency assessment.

Must possess a valid drivers license with no more than 2 violations on record.

Ability to drive and sit for up to an 8 hour shift.

Ability to read maps and follow directions.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.


Experience:

Minimum 2-3 years professional bus driving or transit authority experience highly preferred.
