Job Description:

Job Summary:

Manage or assist with management of Capital and System funded construction, renovation and maintenance projects. Create construction Bid Document Packages for building and campus upgrades necessary to maintain 70+ buildings. Perform architectural design and construction administration duties for a broad array of campus projects.

Authority and Accountability:

This position will report to the Director of Architecture and Engineering Services and does not supervise any employees. This position does not have budgetary responsibility.

Required/Minimum Qualifications:

  • Five years of prior capital project management experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field OR eight years of capital project management experience
  • Project Management Professional certification or equivalent
  • Project estimating and scheduling skills and proficiency with AutoCAD
  • Building Code knowledge

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Licensed architect or engineer in Maryland

The position is a full-time, exempt state role with comprehensive benefits.
