Summary
SAP - ME Configuration & Development InternThis role offers hands-on experience in configuring and supporting SAP MES and MII systems for a global medical device manufacturer. The position involves close collaboration with the MES team to implement solutions that improve shop-floor efficiency, ensure compliance, and enhance data integrity.
After training, responsibilities include assisting with system configuration, requirements gathering, and implementation support, while providing real-world exposure to manufacturing operations.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
o Configuration & Support: Learn and apply SAP MES and MII configuration techniques, including POD setup, workflows, and master data alignment, under guidance from experienced team members.
o Implementation Assistance: Support deployment activities for MES/MII enhancements, including testing, validation, and troubleshooting during upgrades or new feature rollouts.
o Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with operators and engineers on the shop floor to capture real-world process requirements and translate them into system solutions.
o Compliance & Integration: Help ensure electronic Device History Records and data flows meet regulatory standards and integrate seamlessly with enterprise systems.
o Report Building & Dashboards: Develop MII dashboards, KPIs, and custom reports using SQL and Qlik tools to provide actionable insights for manufacturing leadership.
Preferred Skills / Background / Major
o Pursuing a B.S. degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
o Proficiency in SAP ECC or SAP ME systems
* Familiarity with SAP MII is a plus.
o Strong SQL skills and exposure to Qlik reporting tools
* Knowledge of Java, JavaScript, XML/XSLT a plus.
