About the Role:
The Academic Programs Coordinator reports to the Provost to facilitate the efficient operation of a large, complex academic operation. The Coordinator provides administrative support to multiple leaders in Academic Affairs, including the Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs, the Associate Provost for Global Engagement, and the Director of Student Success and Retention. The Coordinator supports planning and delivery of student-facing programs such as First Scholars Summer Bridge and Sophomore Study Away. Other responsibilities include reception, correspondence, communications, payment processing, budget tracking, document review, travel planning, event planning, calendar and workflow management, and more.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to confidently learn and complete new tasks
- At least two years of relevant administrative experience
- Proficient in MS Office suite
Preferred Qualifications:
- Successful administrative experience in higher education
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, Canvas, and/or other productivity tools
- Editorial, document design, and visual communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating with multiple partners
Responsibilities:
- Support daily operations of Provost’s Office, including financial processes, personnel records, and campus communication
- Complete special projects and support special events and programs as assigned
