Job DetailsJob Location: Salt Lake City Office - Salt Lake City, UT 84111Salary Range: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 SalarySUMMARY To assist the Sales Executive in marketing, processing, and selling all lines of commercial insurance and to provide technical support in accordance with the objectives and procedures outlined by the organization through the Quality Control Coordinator. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITES •   Understands structure and content of insurance contracts, e.g., understands the concept of an insurance agreement, exclusions, terms and conditions •   Awareness of most insurance coverages •   Knowledge of major insurance coverages; General Liability/Products Liability, Commercial Automobile, WC, Property, Business Income and Umbrella •   Knowledge of premium rating methods and audits •   Understands loss information, loss forecasting, collateral and accruals •   Knowledge of exposure information and its applications •   Develops and produces submissions on coverages, including more complex coverages •   Ability to place standard coverages with limited assistance •   Understands the underwriter’s perspective on coverage/placement issues •   Analyzes and compares policies •   Limited ability to analyze, compare, develop and recommend design options •   Pursue a designation(s) in CPCU, CIC, CRM or ARM QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS •   A high school diploma •   Good written and oral communication skills •   Must be thorough and accurate •   Ability to understand and analyze commercial lines coverage, forms, rating, and policies •   Holds a current Utah Producer Property/Casualty license or will obtain it within three months of hire or promotion •   Prior insurance industry experience of at least three to five years required PHYSICAL DEMANDS The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and stoop.  The employee must regularly lift and/ or move up to 10 pounds.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
