Tri Pointe Homes Utah is looking for an experienced individual to join our talented group as a Director of Marketing.
Position Highlights: The Director of Marketing will work with the brand/division VP of Sales & Marketing by planning and directing marketing efforts for the brand/division.
Position Responsibilities:
- Using home office templates and/or directions, modifies or produces creative pieces for advertising, collateral, sales office displays, signage, etc. ensuring adherence to company brand standards and marketing policies.
- Purchases all local offline media, including signage programs, purchased consumer lists, etc.
- Works with local and/or national marketing agencies and business partners to produce and maintain all marketing collateral including brochures, price sheets, fliers, and broker outreach materials.
- Guides model merchandising direction and coordinates activities related to model and sales office installations and potentially model landscape design.
- Participates in the selection of model options and upgrades.
- Coordinates the closure of the model complex and sales environment at community close-out.
- Assists the sales team with all consumer and broker events.
- Develops and maintains current knowledge of competitor marketing programs, pricing, and products, as well as consumer demographics and economic influences.
- Utilizes available home office/national and local market research to develop community-specific Buyer Profiles to guide marketing activities.
- Tracks results for all marketing initiatives, including detailed analysis of traffic sources.
- Directs consultants on signage, model merchandising, sales office design, photography and renderings, and collateral, as appropriate.
- Participates in the development of standards and options programs for all new communities.
- Develops and maintains marketing budgets for all communities and divisions as a whole. Review, code, and approves marketing-related invoices.
- Develops and maintains division and community-specific marketing plans.
- Assists sales team with technical support in community sales offices and models.
Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 7 or more years of marketing experience or related industry experience.
- New Home marketing experience preferred.
- Ability to effectively present marketing ideas to internal teams and outside parties.
- Superior verbal and written communication skills including grammar, spelling, and proof
reading skills. - Strong analytical skills with a focus on solving problems and developing creative solutions.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Proficient in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Proficiency in InDesign and Photoshop is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Auditory ability to communicate in person, on calls, or in meetings
- Visual acuity for reading documents and computer work
- Occasional driving to new home communities
- Occasional standing, walking, and climbing stairs
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base Salary: The expected base salary range for this position is between $129,000 - $182,000 per year, depending on experience and skillset. Base Salary is paid bi-weekly, every other Friday.
- Bonus: This position is eligible for an annual performance-based cash bonus. Bonuses are earned, calculated and paid in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Company’s applicable incentive plan document.
