Job DetailsJob Location: Salt Lake City Plant - Salt Lake City, UT 84116Job Description: Performing a variety of tasks assigned to support the planning, engineering design, fabrication, purchasing and installation of manufacturing equipment as well as the facility infrastructure that support this manufacturing equipment. This should also include the development of the appropriate support documentation and troubleshooting guides to be used by on-shift technical resources. Performing when assigned preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance tasks to maintain facility infrastructure equipment reliability, reduction of repair parts usage, reduction of downtime associated with the facility infrastructure. The infrastructure consists of but not limited to grounds, pest controls, building and auxiliary systems consisting of compressed air, HVAC, material conveyance, fire protection, plant security and plumbing. The candidate shall coordinate contract services, write purchase orders, and respond to help chain calls. The candidate must possess high quality expectations, and be well versed in process of facilities Maintenance and a technical resource for the remaining processes (Molding Scoring Lining, Printing and the material delivery system)  Be responsible for care and proper or efficient operating condition of the facilities and/or property to ensure compliance to internal /external audits as well as avoid extensive damage or loss to the Company. Under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Lead provides technical leadership and assists with managing maintenance activities. This position is expected to support and guide the Maintenance department when requested by the Maintenance Manager or in their absence. Duties and Responsibilities: Provides leadership and complies with all of CSI policies regarding safe practices. Is a resource person to support the facility infrastructure in all phases of the manufacturing operation to achieve proper and efficient running conditions in support of defined manufacturing milestone performance levels? Compiles necessary records or samples to assist supervisor and operations in determining causes of downtime, causes of action to be taken, i.e., Equipment repair logs. MTTF, MTTR, performance summaries, etc.) Coordinates with vendors and contractors to select the most economical materials and components and prepares the bill of material.  Ensure that vendors and contractors under his/her control, comply with equal employment opportunity laws and company policy with regard to race, sex, religion, national origin, age, or physical disability. Minimum of three to five years' experience in facilities’ maintenance. Technical school training will be considered in lieu of years of experience. Prefer understanding in the injection molding process along with all its support equipment i.e., AEC’s, loaders, ohmmeters, chillers, conveyors, etc., and the use of tools and devices used to repair and maintain equipment and facilities. Experience in manufacturing in a fast-paced work environment. Good verbal and written communication skills Work Location: In person Work Conditions: Requires flexibility for 8–12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends and mandatory overtime as needed.   This position reports directly to the Maintenance Manager. Involves close collaboration with maintenance mechanics, maintenance electricians, production machine operators, production supervisors, engineering, and warehouse personnel.
