You'll spend your time traveling to stores, facilitating engaging training programs, coaching leaders and Team Members in the field, supporting new store openings, and driving consistent execution of company standards. As the link between field operations and store teams, this role helps drive operational consistency, leadership development, and successful implementation of company initiatives. Their ability to coach, train, and support stores directly contributes to stronger business performance and an exceptional guest experience.

Travel Expectations:

This is a highly field-based position. Depending on the assigned territory, travel is expected to be approximately50% within the Salt Lake City area or up to 75% for territories outside the Salt Lake area to support Maverik stores and business operations. Prefer candidates who live in proximity to Flagstaff Arizona and Salt Lake City UT.

What You’ll do in this Role 

  • Deliver and execute training programs, including SOP rollouts, retraining initiatives, new store openings, and ongoing employee development activities across assigned locations.
  • Facilitate engaging instructor-led, virtual, and in-field training experiences that support operational excellence and consistent execution of company standards.
  • Partner with operational leaders to align training initiatives with business priorities, operational goals, and organizational growth strategies.
  • Provide in-store coaching, reinforcement, and performance support to store teams and leaders to ensure adoption and sustained execution of training objectives.
  • Identify performance, knowledge, and execution gaps through observations, assessments, and feedback, and implement targeted training solutions to improve results.
  • Assist in the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of training materials, resources, tools, and learning processes to enhance training effectiveness and scalability.
  • Coordinate training logistics, including scheduling, communication, preparation of instructional materials, and support for instructor-led and technology-based learning programs.
  • Collect, analyze, and communicate training feedback, assessment results, and performance metrics to evaluate program effectiveness and recommend continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Support cross-functional operational initiatives, change management efforts, and training-related communications while staying informed of learning and development best practices and emerging trends.

Scheduling and shift assignments and work location may be changed at any time, as required by business necessity.

You’ll be a great fit for this adventure if you have: 

  • 3+ years of experience in multi-unit operations, training, or field support roles
  • Demonstrated experience delivering structured training programs across multiple locations
  • Strong understanding of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and operational execution
  • Proven ability to influence and coach store-level teams and leaders

Bonus points if you also bring: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field or equivalent experience preferred.  

Compensation & Benefits 

Pay Range: $80,000-$95,000/year DOE and Bonus Opportunities 

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Maverik considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers, such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidates experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.
