L3Harris, a leader in defense technology and communications solutions, is seeking an exceptional Signal Processing or Communications Analysis Engineer to join our Salt Lake City team. This role is integral to providing advanced technical expertise in the realm of communications systems and Electronic Warfare (EW) for Department of Defense (DoD) programs and collaborative research initiatives.

Our engineers are involved in the full spectrum of product development, from conceptual proposals and requirements definition to coding, simulation, synthesis, placement, routing, verification testing, and ongoing system support. The selected candidate will be instrumental in algorithm design, analysis, simulation, and implementation support.聽

We are searching for a passionate engineer who relishes complex challenges and excels in both team-oriented and individual contributor roles. Technical Experience and Education Requirements:

聽聽聽聽聽 Proficiency in MATLAB or equivalent analytical tools.

聽聽聽聽聽 Experience with system architecture, FPGA, VHDL, or programming languages such as C++, C#, or C.

Basic Qualifications:

聽聽聽聽聽 Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) with 9+ years of experience, Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) with 7+ years of experience, or PhD and 5+ years.

聽 聽 聽Active DOD Secret Security Clearance.

Desired Experience and Education:

聽聽聽聽聽 Background in Electronic Warfare.

聽聽聽聽聽 Proficiency with Matlab/Python/Simulink.

聽聽聽聽聽 Proven track record in algorithm development, simulation, and documentation.

聽聽聽聽聽 Strong skills in requirements analysis and management.

聽聽聽聽聽 In-depth knowledge of communication systems analysis.

聽聽聽聽聽 Experience with high-rate, satellite, and spread spectrum communication systems.

聽聽聽聽聽 Familiarity with Software Defined Radios and Digital Signal Processing.

聽聽聽聽聽 Experience in VHDL (preferred) or Verilog development languages.

聽聽聽聽聽 Laboratory debugging skills using digital scopes, logic analyzers, BERTS, and other sophisticated measurement devices.

聽聽聽聽聽 Familiarity with code revision management tools such as Git

聽聽聽聽聽 Knowledge of programming languages C, C++, and C#.
