We represent ordinary and extraordinary people, who have been injured or killed or whose loved ones have been injured or killed by the wrongdoing of others.  We handle large-loss, high stakes cases and the Legal Assistant plays a vital role in our success by handling tasks such as scheduling, drafting letters, and making sure our cases are organized at all times. A Day in the Life 

Upon getting to the office, the legal assistant will usually begin their day by checking in with their team and reviewing any new items in the firm's case management system. Collaborating with the team, especially the paralegals, is key to having a productive day. The legal assistant can expect to be busy communicating with clients, scheduling phone calls, depositions, appointments, and calendaring things like court hearings. Throughout the day, the legal assistant will also be asked to draft things like letters and documents for discovery, and to file documents with the court. During all of this, the legal assistant is expected to update the firm's case management system and the firm's document storage system to ensure we have accurate information and all files are properly saved. 


Job Duties Include:

  • Working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment

  • Report to team paralegals and assist the paralegals on their tasks
  • Communicating with clients, paralegals, attorneys and the rest of the team
