About the Role:
Milestone Advisor’s Technology division is growing! We're looking to add an entry level IT technician to our team. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer experience while offering technical support and assistance to our customers and internal staff, ensuring that all IT systems run smoothly and efficiently. You will gain hands-on experience with various technologies and contribute to the overall success of our IT operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide desktop support for end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
Answering tech support phone calls, creating tickets, and escalating tickets when necessary.
Running reports and helping users find the data/information they need.
Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems and peripherals.
Support network connectivity issues, including LAN and VPN configurations.
Manage user accounts and permissions using Active Directory and Group Policy Objects (GPO).
Perform routine maintenance on computer hardware, ensuring optimal performance.
Assist with the installation and configuration of operating systems, including Windows, Linux and Mac OS.
Collaborate with team members to resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
Document all support activities in the ticketing system for tracking purposes.
Required Skills:
Basic knowledge of computer networking concepts, including LAN configurations.
Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows, Linux, and Mac OS.
Understanding of Active Directory, GPO management, and VPN technologies is a plus.
Experience with computer hardware assembly and troubleshooting is preferred.
Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and a knack to learn.
Excellent customer service and communication skills to effectively assist users with technical issues, while providing great customer experience to our internal and external customers.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
