The Sharla Ellis Dream Team at Fairway Home Mortgage is looking for a positive, organized, and people-focused team player who wants to build a long-term career in the mortgage industry.

1+ years mortgage experience preferred (LOA, mortgage assistant, transaction coordinator, or similar) — though we will train the right person who brings reliability, professionalism, and a strong work ethic. If you have a history of showing up, growing, and contributing, you may be exactly who we’re looking for.

This role supports one of Utah’s top-producing teams and offers mentorship, on-the-job training, career pathways, and meaningful client impact every day.

This is an in-office position at our Salt Lake City branch.

What You’ll Do:

(Training provided — experience helpful but not required)

• Prepare client-facing communication and help gather documentation for prequalification

• Assist borrowers through the application process and help coordinate next steps

• Track loan-related items and ensure files stay organized and on schedule

• Maintain accurate notes, checklists, and follow-up tasks

• Support team operations during meetings, events, and high-volume periods

• Provide administrative and customer service support to ensure an outstanding experience

• Customer service, real estate, finance, or administrative experience is a bonus, not a requirement

Starting pay ranges from $20.00 – $30.00 per hour, plus eligibility for the branch bonus program. Individual rates are based on relevant experience and branch profitability.
