This role helps those members who are in need, willing to be worthy, and willing to work to learn the doctrines and principles of self-reliance in order to provide for themselves and their families the temporal and spiritual necessities of life, or self-reliance. The incumbent is the Welfare and Self-Reliance (WSRS) information conduit and problem solver with headquarters and area employees, volunteers, and missionaries. The incumbent serves on the global WSRS Education Support team with responsibilities for the administration of the PEF loan program, Benson Agriculture Scholarship program, and other programs and initiatives that may be introduced. The work is comprehensive, including all aspects of program support, training, marketing, and project management. Also, this role helps develop and implement strategy, policies and systems relating to these programs. He/she is assigned to provide strategic direction, in-field training, and ongoing support to Area education support teams and other area personnel globally with specifically assigned international areas. The incumbent must be able to persuade and influence without having direct authority. This role provides training to education support teams and as the expert in program operations, policies, procedures, and systems. Addresses all process, procedure, technical, policy and operational issues.
