Position Summary

The Team Laundry Manager supports the daily operations of the Westminster sport team. This position ensures that all equipment and laundry are properly maintained and cleaned for practices and games. Responsibilities include daily practice and game laundry, locker room maintenance, and jersey preparation. The manager plays a key behind-the-scenes role in helping the team function smoothly and efficiently.


Primary Responsibilities & Tasks

  • Laundry & Uniform Prep: Wash, dry, and hang jerseys and other team laundry after practices and games. (set approved expectations by the coaching staff for team members on what can go on the laundry loops and timeline and process to have them turned)
  • Remain with laundry during cycles and do not allow other people outside our team access the laundry unsupervised (if any laundry items go missing you will be responsible to locate or replace items) Notify coaching staff immediately when any laundry items goes missing.
  • Equipment Management: Work in collaboration with team captains on the oversight of the set up and take down of equipment before and after each practice; manage and track inventory of all gear, equipment and locker room cleanliness.
  • Team Support: Provide general assistance to coaching staff and players as needed being a resource on all things laundry and equipment.
  • Other Duties: Complete additional tasks as assigned to support the success of the women’s lacrosse program.

  • Gain hands-on experience in athletic operations and team logistics.
  • Enhance leadership and responsibility through daily routine management.
  • Build teamwork and communication skills while working closely with coaches and athletes.
  • Learn how to support a high-level NCAA Division II athletic program operations behind the scenes.
