Service Call Dispatcher
To dispatch commercial service technicians in response to customer needs, assisting with paperwork and providing support to technicians.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Answer multi-line telephone system, take accurate information in a professional manner.
- Complete paperwork accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain communication with the customer on service call status.
- Dispatch service vehicles to service calls.
- Input service call information into the ADaM system and follow through to close completed work orders.
- Embrace Purcell’s culture of safety and perform all jobs in a safe manner
- Regular attendance in accordance with assigned schedule
- Ability to perform physical requirements as listed in job description
- Other essential and non-essential duties, as assigned by management

Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Ability:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively over the phone with customers and co-workers. Bilingual Spanish and English preferred.
Ability to apply common sense and solve problems as they arise
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of general computer skills and internet software.
