As a Specialist, Systems Engineering, you will perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, and technical analyses that help translate customer needs into reliable total-system solutions. This role has a strong systems verification engineering focus and contributes across the system lifecycle鈥攆rom concept and design through integration, test, operation, and sustainment.

Essential Functions:

聽聽聽聽聽 Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.

聽聽聽聽聽 Support systems engineering activities across concept development, design, fabrication, integration, test, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal.

聽聽聽聽聽 Translate customer and product requirements into total-system solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, cost, and operational constraints.

聽聽聽聽聽 Develop, derive, analyze, allocate, and trace system and subsystem requirements through verification evidence.

聽聽聽聽聽 Define verification approaches, methods, procedures, test cases, and objective evidence using test, analysis, inspection, and demonstration.

聽聽聽聽聽 Plan and support integration and test activities to demonstrate that hardware, software, interfaces, and external systems work together as intended.

聽聽聽聽聽 Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, requirements allocation, interface-definition studies, and detailed trade studies.

聽聽聽聽聽 Support development and maintenance of system requirements, interfaces, specifications, technical baselines, and change-impact assessments.

聽聽聽聽聽 Analyze test results, identify discrepancies, support root-cause investigations, and help drive closure of verification issues.

聽聽聽聽聽 Apply model-based systems engineering practices to develop and maintain system architecture, behavior, interface, requirements, and verification models.

聽聽聽聽聽 Conduct technical risk assessments and contribute to mitigation planning and technical decision-making.

聽聽聽聽聽 Communicate system engineering processes, verification status, technical issues, and recommendations with internal teams and, as needed, customers and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

聽聽聽聽聽 Bachelor鈥檚 Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

聽聽聽聽聽 Proficient knowledge of systems engineering principles, including requirements development, functional analysis, integration, verification, and validation.

聽聽聽聽聽 Experience supporting hardware and software integration and test activities.

聽聽聽聽聽 Experience developing or maintaining requirements, verification plans, test procedures, traceability, or verification evidence.

聽聽聽聽聽 Practical knowledge of project execution, technical risk management, and system lifecycle processes.
