Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 9:00 AM-5:00 PM with rotating on-call responsibilities

What You'll Do

As the Wellness Director, you will oversee all clinical operations within our assisted living community, ensuring residents receive exceptional care while maintaining compliance with state regulations and company standards.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a clinical team of approximately 30-40 caregivers and nursing staff
  • Oversee daily nursing operations and resident wellness services
  • Ensure high-quality resident care through assessments, care planning, and clinical oversight
  • Coordinate physician appointments and communicate with healthcare providers
  • Monitor medication management and ensure accurate administration
  • Respond to resident health concerns, emergencies, and incident follow-up
  • Partner with residents' families to provide exceptional communication and support
  • Maintain compliance with all state licensing requirements and company policies
  • Participate in the on-call rotation to support the community as needed
  • Foster a positive, collaborative culture focused on resident-centered care

Qualifications

Required:

  • Active Utah Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Previous leadership or management experience supervising clinical staff
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team
  • Compassionate, resident-focused approach to care

Preferred:

  • Experience as a Wellness Director, Director of Nursing (DON), Health Services Director, or similar leadership role
  • Experience in assisted living, memory care, long-term care, skilled nursing, or senior living
  • Knowledge of state regulations governing assisted living communities
