Duties and Responsibilities:Ā
Defend and litigate lawsuits involving a broad range of employment-related claims andĀ agencyĀ charges of discrimination.Ā
Represent employers in court, before administrative agencies, at mediations, and in arbitration in employment matters, including class/collective actions and discrimination, harassment, retaliation, contract, employment tort, and non-compete cases.Ā
Provide advice and counsel to employers on a wide range of labor and employment laws and regulations.Ā
Ā
Skills and Educational Requirements:Ā
JD from an ABA accredited law school and excellent academic credentials.Ā
3-5Ā years of litigation experience, employment law background strongly preferred.Ā
ActiveĀ UtahĀ bar admission or ability to obtain admission quickly.Ā
Understanding ofĀ current court and employment-related agency (state and federal) procedures.Ā
Excellent written and oral communication skills.Ā
Attention to detail and commitment to excellence.Ā
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.Ā
Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills.Ā
Commitment to professionalism, collegiality, and teamwork, along withĀ abilityĀ to work independently on various projects.Ā
