As an Armed Security Officer supporting a high-profile aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide professional customer service and communication. You will support access control and respond to security-related concerns while upholding Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity.

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, restricted areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, and vehicles entering restricted areas in accordance with site procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, patrol activities, and irregular conditions in required reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
