Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Family Nurse Practitioner, you will help pediatric and adult patients receive high-quality medical care so they can achieve optimal health outcomes and well-being.Every day you will provide immediate patient care under the supervision of a physician, applying your technical and clinical skills to meet patient needs and age-specific considerations. You will be expected to organize and prioritize your workload efficiently, adhere to ethical, legal, and professional standards, and ensure the appropriate, safe, and timely disposition of each patient.To be successful in this role you must possess professional and extensive knowledge of physical assessment, differential diagnosis, pathophysiology, pharmacology, and management of acute and chronic problems, along with strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently, excellent concentration and attention to detail, and a commitment to teamwork and organizational values.
  • Providing immediate patient care under the responsibility and supervision of a physician.
  • Applying technical/clinical skills appropriate to patient needs and age.
  • Organizing and prioritizing workload in a cost-effective manner.
  • Applying ethical, legal and professional standards to patient care.
  • Ensuring appropriate, safe, and timely disposition of the patient.

Job Requirements

Required

  • Nurse Practitioner registration with the State of California Board of Registered Nursing (BRN).
  • California Registered Nurse Practitioner license
  • California Registered Nurse license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Association
  • Family Nurse Practitioner ANCC (FNP-BC) certification
