Teacher II

Under the supervision of the Site Supervisor, our Teacher II will be responsible for the assisting in the operations of their classroom in accordance with all applicable policies and regulations, and the supervision of assigned staff.

The Early Childhood Program - Supports the development and growth of children and their families by providing quality childcare, parent/child experiences, parenting education and individual family support services.

Our Teacher II assists in developing and implementing the Early Childhood Development and Health Services program by provides developmentally and culturally appropriate experiences. Includes parents in the development of goals for their children. Participates in home visits and conferences with parents.

Full-Time/Part Year: 40 hrs./week M – F

Salary Range: $19.08 - $20.00 Per hour

Requirements:

• AA preferred or 60 units with 24 ECE units, including core courses
• One-year experience working with young children within last four years
• Minimum one-year experience supervising adults and 2 units of Adult Supervision
• California Health & Safety Certificate
• CPR/First Aid Certification
• Valid Calif. Driver's License and proof of current automobile insurance coverage
• Physical Examination, proof of current negative TB test, be immunized for measles, pertussis and current influenza shot
