Job Summary:

A Cloud Administrator II is a technology professional who will handle cloud computing services for their organization, such as Microsoft 365 & Microsoft Azure with a focus to ensure all company employees receive access to appropriate resources and applications. Cloud Administrator II will protect cloud-based applications and company data from breaches or cybersecurity threats by monitoring and leveraging Microsoft Azure security console environments. In addition, the Cloud Administrator II will work with any/all lines of business and maintain our Infrastructure including Servers, Active Directory (AD), business operating systems and virtual environment(s).

Job Description:

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

The statements on this job description are intended to describe the general nature of level of work being performed by incumbents.  They are not an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties, and skills required by all incumbents.

  • Control cloud application access to the various Microsoft products and ensure all company employees have the required provisioning to company resources.

  • Leveraging our available security & cloud monitoring tools, the Cloud Administrator will protect from potential data breaches and/or cybersecurity threats.

  • The Cloud Administrator II will have Advanced knowledge & skillset in Cloud console environments, such as:  Endpoint Manager, Defender for Endpoint, Microsoft 365 Admin, Exchange, Microsoft Azure, and Security & Compliance.

  • Manage tenant licensing and provide adequate reporting on usage.

  • Works directly with Engineers, including Tier II Administrators to maintain the security & integrity of our company data.

  • Provide an mailbox solutions based on business needs such as:  User, Distribution, public folder, and shared mailboxes.

  • Provide escalation support to all IT departments and business partners.

  • Knowledge in Azure configurations such as:  SAML/SSO, ChatGPT, and Conditional Access.

  • Execute, manage, and lead users through on-boarding of new processes including system life-cycle changes.

  • Facilitate and provide excellent communication of technical concerns/solutions to peers, end users, management and business, overall.  Provide an advanced level of technical knowledge.

  • Work directly with IBC Security Division.

SKILLS

  • Proven knowledge & experience of Microsoft 365 & Azure Cloud admin consoles.

  • Must be customer service driven.

  • Proficient in troubleshooting skills in a Cloud Environment

  • Ability to multi-task and flexible to unexpected change based on company needs.

  • Ability to work after hours/weekends to complete company initiatives including On-Call support.

  • Proficient in cloud applications such as:  TEAMS, Sharepoint, & Exchange.

  • Knowledge in Microsoft Azure, ChatGPT, and Conditional Access

EDUCATION

  • Associate degree and/or combination of 5 years of IT experience and certifications in an IT related field.

  • 4-6 years’ experience in a Cloud Administration/Cloud Engineering role.

  • Proficient in Microsoft 365, Azure, Exchange, Endpoint Manager, Defender for Endpoint.  Familiarity with virtual platforms such as:  VMware, Nutanix, Citrix.
