Description
Delivery Driver is responsible for delivery of product to customer and/or picking up returns from customers, using a Company-provided vehicle. Responsibilities also lie in loading and unloading vehicle daily for delivery. This position may also be responsible for store duty, along with representing the company in a positive manner, and keeping good customer relations.
Requirements
Driver
- Loads and unloads vehicle manuallyTransport products (cased goods, drums, pails, bulk, etc.) to customer
- Represent the company in a positive way, showing good customer relation skills
- Perform pre-trip, and post-trip inspections which includes checking gasoline, oil, water, and tires and fills as required. Record any malfunctions of equipment on the Inspection Sheet which is reviewed by the supervisor.
- Possess the ability to handle money from customers and be able to make change if necessary
- Maintain a satisfactory attendance record
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, work stations and shipping supply areas neat in the store, complying with all OSHA and company safety procedures, rules and regulations.

- Assist parts manager in maintaining inventory on a daily basis
- Ensure that unused "outside purchase parts" are returned to vendors
- Assist in preparing for annual parts inventory
- Pull all parts from pick tickets and deliver to technicians
- Pull all parts invoices and stage for shuttle driver
- Conduct bin counts weekly
- Put up stock daily
- Keep parts warehouse secure at all times
- Keep parts area clean
