JOB FUNCTION:Â
The Account Executive is responsible for delivering exceptional service and strategic support for clients and producers. This role oversees account management, supports new business, and ensures accurate policy handling.Â
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and service assigned book of business Â
- Provide high-level client support and communication with both clients and carriersÂ
- Prepare submissions, proposals, and renewal documentationÂ
- Review policies, endorsements, and audits for accuracyÂ
- Coordinate with carriers and internal teamsÂ
- Identify cross-selling and growth opportunitiesÂ
- Maintain compliance and minimize coverage gapsÂ
- Report Claims to insurance companies and monitor progression of claimsÂ
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Work ExperienceÂ
- 3+ years of experience as an account executive at an insurance brokerage, with a book of business $1MM or greater
- Demonstrated ability to manage renewals and service accounts.
Â
Preferred Experience (Optional)
- Prior experience in commercial or personal lines insurance.
- Familiarity with Texas markets and regional business communities.
- Existing book of business or established referral network.
- Bilingual abilities (Spanish preferred).

Supervisory ExperienceÂ
- None required.
Â
 Education/Skills
- Active Texas insurance license (Property & Casualty required; Life & Health a plus).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracyÂ
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Clear communication and strong follow-through
- Operational discipline and process adherence
- Problem-solving mindset and proactive approach
- Systems proficiency and comfort working across multiple platformsÂ

Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit, stand, and work at a computer for extended periods.
- Occasional travel for client meetings, networking events, and community involvement.

- Agency management system (EPIC Management System preferred).
- Carrier quoting platforms and underwriting portals.
- Standard office equipment (computer, phone, headset).
- Digital communication tools (email, video conferencing).

Position Includes DrivingÂ
- Yes. Local travel to meet clients, attend events, or conduct onsite assessments may be required.
- Must maintain a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
