Job DetailsJob Location: TX-San Antonio Center of Hope Corps - San Antonio, TX 78201Position Type: Temporary Full TimeEducation Level: High School Diploma/GEDTravel Percentage: NoneJob Shift: AnyJob Category: RecreationSchedule – Monday - Friday hours 8:00 AM – 5:00PM  Temporary Plans, develops, schedules, coordinates, facilitates, and monitors a variety of engaging activities, events, and trips to meet the needs and interests of specific groups participating in Salvation Army programs; monitors all activities to ensure needs of participants are met and to ensure compliance with established activity plans as well as The Salvation Army policies and procedures Plans, promotes, coordinates, and facilitates activities on a regular basis to include recreational, athletic, entertaining, educational, and/or devotional topics. Prepares and distributes monthly calendars and/or newsletters promoting scheduled activities and providing general and specific information of interest to the participants. Assists participants with moving as needed throughout the day. Serves breakfast and lunch to participants; assists participants in moving to tables; assists participants by cutting   WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN YOUEducation and Experience: High school diploma or G.E.D. and Two years work experience coordinating activities and working with to the elderly or people with disabilities in a human services or medically-related program, or  Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
