Afternoon Nanny for a Family in San Antonio

We are seeking a patient, and highly engaging full-time nanny for a busy family in San Antonio with two school-aged boys. The ideal candidate is confident caring for energetic children, enjoys building meaningful relationships, and can provide consistent guidance while creating a positive and structured environment. Responsibilities include school pick-up and transportation to extracurricular activities, homework support and encouragement, planning engaging indoor and outdoor activities, preparing family-friendly meals, administering a daily prescribed medication, and helping children develop healthy communication and emotional regulation skills. The family is looking for someone who is calm under pressure, communicates well with parents, and partners with them to reinforce household expectations and routines.

In addition to childcare, responsibilities include light housekeeping such as unloading the dishwasher, wiping down kitchen surfaces, folding laundry, children's laundry, making beds a couple of times each week, light organization projects, occasional errands, and preparing simple, healthy meals for the family. The schedule is generally Monday through Friday from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with some flexibility and a different schedule during the summer months. The ideal candidate must be comfortable swimming, be willing to travel occasionally (passport-ready preferred), and be committed to becoming a long-term part of the family's support system.
