Assistant Inventory Control Specialist

Job DetailsJob Location: San Antonio, TX 78233Salary Range: $17.00 HourlyThe assistant inventory control specialist monitors and maintains current inventory levels, performs physical count of inventory, reconciles actual stock count and ensures that optimal inventory is present and ready for use.  Responsibilities:  Cycle counts daily  Evaluate stock rotation  Analyze and investigate inventory discrepancies  Analyze overstock and determine action  Analyze dead and/or expired stock and determine action  Assist Buyers with inventory checks (missing product, dates, counts, etc.)  Responsible for slotting/organizing warehouse  Other duties as assigned  Qualifications:  Ability to analyze and solve problems  Ability to work well under pressure  Computer skills to include data entry and Excel   Ability to multi-task and be organized  Team player with a great personality that is self-motivated  Pay and Benefits: $17/hr Monday thru Friday, no weekends Benefits and Paid Time Off after 60 days Employer paid short-term disability, Life and AD&D, 401k match I-9 and E-Verify Compliance: Employment eligibility will be verified through the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's E-Verify system.
