Chemical Plant Loader

CarbonFree is looking for a Chemical Plant Loader to support our company as it grows. This role will report directly to one of our Shift Supervisors.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

● Work in a SAFE and efficient manner in all tasks

● Primary functions of the loader position are trans-loading of bi-carb railcars, railyard railcar movements, truck tanker and railcar loading

● Monitor, operate and control equipment and systems to ensure that all are functioning and to maintain maximum efficiency

● Perform basic maintenance related tasks

● Initiate work request for required maintenance of equipment and processes

● Prepare equipment for maintenance

● Notify Supervisor of equipment malfunctions

● Record test results and other data pertaining to the plant’s operation

● Other duties assigned

Education and Experience:

● High School diploma or completed GED

● Previous industrial manufacturing experience is a plus

● Proficiency in math, reading comprehension, and mechanical reasoning with strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills

● Basic PC skills required and experience with a distributed control system (DCS) is a plus

● Ability to work a compressed shift

● Ability to read, write and speak English

● Excellent interpersonal skills

● Physical requirements: Must be able to climb stairs, lift 40 pounds. Bending, stooping and walking is required

● Ability to work a 12-hr rotating shift and work overtime
