Job Description

As a Cleared Armed Security Officer - DOD Clearance Required in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to site needs. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, team-focused culture built on agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, aircraft-adjacent areas, parking areas, restricted zones, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorizations, and maintain awareness of restricted-area entry and exit activity in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following applicable armed response procedures and reporting requirements.
• Document patrol observations, incidents, and security-related concerns accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a Level III Armed Security License in Texas.
• Possess an active DoD Top Secret Clearance.
• CPR Certification is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
