CNC Machinist

San Antonio, TX

$23.20-$31.61/Hour

Responsibilities:

Set up, program, and operate CNC milling and turning machines
Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T specifications
Select, install, and adjust tooling, fixtures, and offsets
Monitor machining operations to ensure quality, efficiency, and adherence to tolerances
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment
Conduct inspections using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
Partner with engineering and production teams to improve machining processes
Maintain production documentation and machine records
Ensure compliance with safety standards and clean work environment practices

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED
5+ years as a CNC Machinist
Technical Experience:
- 5+ years operating CNC machines (milling and/or turning)
- 5+ years of G-code programming and CNC controls
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with CAD/CAM software (CATIA or similar)
Experience with process optimization and troubleshooting in machining environments
