About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Launch Operations Manager to join our Field Operations team at Landing, helping lead launches across our East Coast markets. In this hands-on role, you will be at the forefront of launching new autopilot properties. You will oversee the entire process after signing to launch. Coordinating the logistics of deinstalling old leased individual units, to shipping them and ensuring their installation at new properties. Your primary responsibility will be to monitor and facilitate the successful launch of each new building while managing costs effectively.

About the Team

What You’ll Do

  • Plan and sequence launches for 3–5 projects (5–50 furnished units each) simultaneously, aligning tasks to meet ~2-week timelines.
  • Source, negotiate, and contract movers, junk-removal crews, painters, cleaners, furniture assemblers, TV mounters, and specialty trades; secure best‑in‑market pricing through persistent negotiation.
  • Lead on-site operations: meet property teams, direct contractors, conduct walk-throughs, resolve issues, close punch lists, and assist hands on with whatever needs to be done to ensure the project is completed prior to the deadline.
  • Train and educate contractors on tasks like painting, moving, and TV mounting to ensure quality and professionalism.
  • Coordinate remotely with project stakeholders via Slack, Dialpad, and Google Workspace; provide concise status reports and escalate obstacles promptly.
  • Champion quality control: conduct final walk‑throughs and verify that all units meet brand standards before hand‑off to the local team.

What You Need

  • Hands-On Experience: Proven experience in a hands-on role, preferably within property management, logistics, or a related field.
  • Aptitude for Learning: Willing to assist and become familiar in furniture assembly, TV mounting, painting, cleaning, and moving to effectively train and manage contractors.
  • Project Management Skills: Strong project management abilities, with a track record of overseeing complex logistics and installations.
  • Cost Management Experience: Demonstrated ability to manage project budgets and implement cost-saving measures.
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail to ensure all aspects of the installation and launch process are meticulously managed.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to coordinate with various teams and stakeholders effectively.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong problem-solving skills to address and resolve issues on-site efficiently.
  • Leadership Ability: Ability to lead and motivate on-site teams to achieve project goals and maintain high standards of quality.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time as required and adapt to varying project needs.
