Solid Rock Cafe, located on the Cornerstone Church campus is looking for a full-time Breakfast & Lunch Line Cook to join our ministry’s food services team!  This role is perfect for someone who takes pride in preparing delicious meals, enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen, and values teamwork and excellence.

As a Line Cook, you’ll prepare and plate menu items for our breakfast and lunch service according to established recipes and quality standards. You’ll play an essential role in creating an inviting dining experience for guests and staff while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized kitchen.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare, cook, and plate breakfast and lunch items according to recipes and presentation standards

• Set up and stock stations with supplies before and during service

• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety throughout the kitchen

• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently

• Monitor food quality, portion sizes, and presentation

• Support the kitchen team with prep work, restocking, and end-of-shift cleaning

• Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth and timely service

What We’re Looking For

• At least 1 year of kitchen or line cook experience (breakfast/lunch experience preferred)

• Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen operations

• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment

• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented with excellent communication skills

• Flexible schedule availability — including early mornings, weekends, and holidays

• ServSafe Manager certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
