Job DetailsJob Location: TX-San Antonio AC - San Antonio, TX 78212Position Type: Full Time RegularEducation Level: High School Diploma/GEDJob Category: PropertySchedule/Hours: M – F 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Rotating On-Call Duties  This position is responsible for: Performs a variety of skilled maintenance and preventative work for buildings and grounds including heating, ventilation, electrical, and air conditioning work as well as day-to-day routine maintenance and repairs. Repairs mechanical malfunctions and performs preventative maintenance on heating and air condition equipment; adjusts and repairs physical plant machinery, heating and cooling systems. Inspects, tests, and adjusts physical plant machinery; maintains electrical systems, and records in accordance with schedules. Installs outlets, fixtures, motors, and other such equipment. Troubleshoots and repairs minor mechanical malfunctions and preventive maintenance; performs minor adjustments; lubricates and cleans equipment, appliances, and/or machinery.   Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: Ability to meet attendance requirements. Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language effectively. Ability to perform strenuous, heavy work involving the lifting and carrying of heavy objects. Ability to perform continuous walking, stooping, standing, and some climbing. Ability to drive a vehicle safely and in compliance of all laws and regulations. Extensive amount of physical effort required associated with lifting, moving, and carrying heavy objects (more than 50 lbs.) frequently.
