Summary

ADVANCED CHENEGA SERVICES, LLC

San Antonio, TX

 

The MEPS Scheduling Coordinator I shall be responsible for the scheduling of providers at 66 Military Entrance Processing Station. Position does not involve patient contact or appointment scheduling.


Responsibilities

  • Verifies provider availability to work at specified MEPS.
  • Coordinates travel for Fee Basis Providers as instructed by Program Manager and/or MEPS Assistant Project Manager.
  • Assists in training new providers on the TrackTik scheduling system.
  • Schedules physicians and clinical staff of short term assignments promptly and accurately.
  • Communicates with physicians, via telephone, text and/or email.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum one (1) year of general office experience

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of Internet software and work with all Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to function successfully in a fast-paced, high call volume work environment.
  • Ability to communicate with health care providers, management and subcontractors
  • Ability to work independently and make quick decisions
  • Possess strong organizational skills and strong time management skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to obtain a NACI/ CAC Common Access Card.
  • Call center experience Preferred.
  • Experience working in an environment reporting to multiple supervisors and departments Preferred.
