SRC, Inc. is currently seeking an Electronic Warfare Engineer. As an EW Engineer dealing with signature flight, you are primarily involved in the application of, or research into, computer science methods and techniques to store, manipulate, transform, or present information by means of computer systems. This work requires you to use (a) professional competence in applying the theoretical foundations of computer science, including computer system architecture and system software organization, the representation and transformation of information structures, and the theoretical models for such representations and transformations; (b) specialized knowledge of the design characteristics, limitations, and potential applications of systems having the ability to transform information, and of broad areas of applications of computing which have common structures, processes, and techniques; and (c) knowledge of relevant mathematical and statistical sciences.

What You'll Do

Proficiency in CAD modeling using different software
Use Xpatch, XFdtd, Wavefarer, XGtd, Sentri, Muses, FLITES, SPIRITS for system analysis
Run electromagnetic codes and provide analyses results and create a report outlining the results and responding to customer requests.

What You'll Bring

Bachelor's in physics with 2 years of experience or bachelor's degree with 30 semester hours in a combination of mathematics, statistics, and computer science or related experience
An active TS/SCI clearance is required
Proficiency in operating systems – Linux/Unix
Proficiency with various programming languages – Java, Python, AWK / GAWK, C/C++, FORTRAN, Postgre-SQL, Eclipse
Knowledge of programs, codes, tools – Xpatch, XFdtd, Wavefarer, XGtd, SAF, Sentri, Echo, Spectral In band Radiometric Imaging of Targets and Scenes (SPIRITS), Muses, Fast Line-of-sight Imagery for Target and Exhaust-plume Signature (FLITES), RhinoCAD, SpaceClaim, Matlab/Simulink, Microsoft Office

Total compensation for this role is market competitive. The anticipated salary range for this position based out of San Antonio, TX is estimated at $84,000 to $95,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, and abilities, geographic location as well as other business and organizational needs.
