Job DetailsJob Location: TX04 ALAMO Medical Center - San Antonio, TX 78240Position Type: FT1Salary Range: $72,000.00 - $80,000.00 Salary/yearAlamo Maxillofacial Surgical Associates Senior Manager of Operations (Oral Surgery) – San Antonio, TX Multi-site | High-Volume | Leadership Opportunity Locations: North Medical Center (primary) + weekly rotation to Stone Oak and Boerne  We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Senior Manager of Operations to lead operations across a thriving, well-established, leading Oral Surgery practice in San Antonio, TX. This is an exciting opportunity to oversee five high-performing surgeon teams across three locations in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Our practice is known for clinical excellence, strong community reputation, and a commitment to delivering an exceptional patient experience. This role is ideal for a strategic leader who thrives on driving performance, developing teams, and building efficient, patient-centered operations.  PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Achieve Practice financial objectives across all three locations for revenue, expense management, and overall profitability; support development and execution of growth goals in partnership with the surgeons and the Regional Director of Operations Drive outstanding patient care, operational efficiency, and productivity through continuous improvement initiatives and ensure team's execution of business essentials such as strategic scheduling, insurance verification, treatment planning conversion, accurate coding and billing of services, clinical compliance and efficiencies in providing quality patient care while initiating continuous training and team meetings Ensure all fiscal procedures are maintained within company policy, including payer relations, credentialing, revenue cycle management, accounts receivable/payable, and inventory management Maintain consistent, effective communication with the surgeons on key performance metrics, including indicators of the Practice financial performance, as well as operational needs Work with Practice Leads on all performance management processes for clinical and non-clinical team members, including coaching, recognition, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions when necessary Supervise all team members while fostering a positive, accountable work environment aligned with the company POWER values Own staffing strategy and labor management, aligning with surgeon schedules to optimize performance and cost efficiency Ensure appropriate staffing coverage across all locations; oversee onboarding, training, timekeeping, and overtime management Assess and develop talent at all levels through ongoing coaching, feedback, and structured development plans Manage inventory, supplies, instruments, and equipment within budget by providing support and guidance to the Team Leads; ensure preparedness to support an exceptional patient experience Oversee licensure and continuing education compliance for doctors and surgical assistants Support the Referral Development Partner (RDP) with marketing initiatives; assist and participate in annual events as needed Coordinate monthly board meetings with the surgeons and RDP; hold monthly meetings with team Leads and staff Perform weekly rotation to the Medical Center, Stone Oak, and Boerne locations for complete oversight and team accountability Lead all aspects of compliance, including federal and state regulations (OSHA, HIPAA, I-9, workplace policies), while maintaining strict confidentiality Perform other related duties as assigned  MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 4+ years of leadership experience in healthcare, dental management, and medical/dental insurance protocols Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent professional experience Proven ability to drive KPIs, improve operations, and lead high-performing teams Strong business acumen with experience managing P&L and operational metrics Confident communicator who can effectively partner with surgeons, leadership, and staff Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities Growth mindset with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) and ability to learn Practice Management Systems (DSN Cloud) Salary commensurate with experience ​ ABOUT US ORAL SURGERY MANAGEMENT By joining US Oral Surgery Management (USOSM), you become part of a dynamic and forward-thinking organization made up of best-in-class Oral and Maxillofacial practices.
