Duties (Include but not limited to) of this position:
Fabrication: Stained glass craftsman will assist in the fabrication process of the stained glass in studio. Glass cutting, assembling windows, glazing windows.
Installation/Restoration: Remove windows & blocking with plywood. Crating windows. Onsite restoration: Reglazing, Repairing. Installation of new or repaired windows.
Preferred skills that will command a higher starting compensation:
2) Wood work - Refinishing surfaces, building doors / sash units
3) Welding - Metal Work
Requirements
Requirements of this position:
Drug free - Drug test required during the application process.
Clean Background - Background check required during the application process.
Valid driver's license - Candidate is responsible for driving a company vehicle & pulling a trailer.
Required Skills & experience: Basic hand tools, power tools like drills, miter saws, circular saws, grinders, reciprocating saws.
Lifting capacity of 100lbs without any assistance.
Must be willing to work on scaffolding up to 32' in the air.
Must be willing to work on extension ladders up to 32' in the air.
Must be willing to work on lifts up to 100' in the air.
Must own & bring basic hand tools.
Must be willing to work with lead & follow all safety protocols.
Ability & will to work up to 12 hours when out of town sometimes in 100+ degree conditions.
Ability & will to work out of town for up to 2 weeks straight (14 consecutive days).
No conflicts that will obstruct potentially 50% - 70% of work weeks travelling.
