Join our team and be a part of a 38-year legacy that continues to serve the Southern Region of Texas! 聽 聽 Job description聽 聽 聽 As a Laborer you will provide landscape maintenance, landscape irrigation or landscape construction support to a variety of industrial, commercial, and/or public properties. Landscape maintenance, landscape irrigation or landscape construction support includes the safe operation of commercial grade landscaping equipment and upkeep of plant material and other landscaping elements.聽 聽 聽 Essential Function:聽 聽 聽 路 Performs a variety of tasks involving manual labor in landscape, irrigation or construction projects.聽 路 Performs manual and machinery work in preparing surfaces for paving (Landscape Construction).聽 路 Maintains a clean job site: picks up all tools and equipment and secures job site each day to eliminate potential hazards.聽 路 Performs materials handling and storage.聽 路 Loads and unloads trucks and hauls and hoists materials.聽 路 Ensures that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed.聽 路 Cut turf using various sized power mowers, trimming, and edging using a gas-powered edger/trimmer, and operating a gas-powered blower.聽 路 Properly and safely prune shrubs and low trees as needed to improve the shape or growth habit or to remove damaged branches.聽 路 Lay sod, plant, mow, trim, dig, rake, prune, mulch, sprinkler installation, and load and unload materials.聽 路 Plant and maintain flower beds.聽 路 Properly and safely operate the edger and line trimmer along sidewalks, flower beds, trees, buildings, fences and other objects.聽 路 Pick up trash and blow leaves and other organic debris on to the turf before mowing.
