VIP Server

ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for a VIP Server position with ASM Global/Boeing Center at Tech Port. The VIP server will provide professional client food and beverage services and support in the planning, organization, and management of events within the facility, while interacting with clients, facility staff and related personnel to assure all event needs are fulfilled. Essential duties include providing exceptional, professional, and attentive food and beverage service, assisting with preparation and set-up, reporting guest concerns to the Food and Beverage Manager, providing guidance to temporary staff, performing side work such as cleaning and filling containers, collecting banquet equipment, and preparing garnishes and beverages. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, TABC and Texas Food Handlers certification, and 5 years of food service or restaurant experience. Skills needed include strong customer service orientation, ability to work independently, excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure. Working conditions involve noise, heat, kitchen elements, and may require working evenings, weekends, and holidays.
