Job Summary

We're looking for an Assembly Operator to join our aerospace manufacturing team. In this role, you'll assemble, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair aircraft engine components and assemblies while following detailed work instructions and airworthiness requirements.


This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys working with tools, following technical drawings, and producing quality work in a regulated aerospace environment.

Shift: 1st shift, Monday-Friday 6:45a-3:30p


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Assemble and disassemble engine modules, components, and sub-assemblies
  • Read and interpret drawings, technical data, and work instructions
  • Inspect parts and assemblies using precision measuring tools
  • Remove and replace defective components based on repair criteria
  • Perform troubleshooting, testing, and functional checks
  • Use flushing, pressure testing, and borescope equipment as required
  • Perform structural sheet metal repairs when needed
  • Install assemblies while maintaining required tolerances and specifications
  • Verify completed work meets quality and airworthiness requirements
  • Plan and prioritize work to meet production schedules
  • Complete required documentation accurately
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
  • Follow all company, customer, and regulatory requirements
  • Support continuous improvement efforts and help the team succeed

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings, procedures, and repair instructions
  • Experience using precision measuring tools and inspection equipment
  • Basic shop math skills
  • Mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems in a manufacturing environment
  • Understanding of aviation terminology and technical publications is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong commitment to safety, quality, and productivity

 

Nice to Have

  • Aerospace manufacturing, assembly, or repair experience
  • Experience with engine components or aircraft parts
  • Familiarity with airworthiness standards and regulated environments
  • Experience operating industrial trucks or electric hoists
