Johnson Brothers is seeking a dependable and motivated Warehouse Lead to support our warehouse operations. In this hands-on leadership role, you will help train new team members, support daily workflow, and ensure accuracy, safety, and productivity across the shift.
Job Description:
What You’ll Do
- Assist the Warehouse Manager in directing daily warehouse activities including loading, unloading, order selection, and replenishment.
- Train and onboard new hires; reinforce SOPs, work rules, and safety guidelines.
- Certify employees on pallet jack, reach trucks, forklift, stock pickers and other warehouse equipment
- Support and motivate team members to meet productivity and accuracy goals.
- Use warehouse management systems to locate product and maintain inventory accuracy.
- Review orders for completeness and accuracy before shipment.
- Safely operate manual and powered equipment; perform equipment inspections.
- Process orders
- Inspect inbound deliveries and verify accuracy against purchase orders and invoices.
- Assist with claims, returns, and coordination with Purchasing, AP, and carriers.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment.
What We’re Looking For
- 1–2 years of warehouse experience; prior lead or trainer experience a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to lead through teamwork and influence.
- Ability to safely lift 40–60 lbs repeatedly and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to operate scanning devices and warehouse equipment.
