In this role, you will perform a variety of functions to move supplies, materials, and equipment to and from receiving, warehouse and manufacturing areas of the plant. You'll need organizational skills and abilities to communicate efficiently and effectively are of paramount importance. Additionally, you will need the ability to use or working knowledge of the different functions of the SAP system.
What will you do?
Receive oral and/or written instructions from Supervisor and/or lead person.
Receive, count, visually inspect, and verify part numbers on material and equipment.
Monitor assigned Queue for requested material from production and report any discrepancies to the Supervisor, lead person.
Check material for defective conditions to Supervisor, lead person.
Safely move material between the dock, warehouse and/or manufacturing areas. Make sure all physical moves are properly and timely recorded within the SAP Warehouse Management System.
Conduct yard inventory, dock audit and/or cycle count as directed by Supervisor and/or lead person.
Perform routine preventive maintenance checks on the material handling equipment such as checking horn, tires, lights, forks and frame.
Exercise great caution and maintain alertness at all times when operating fork lift truck in order to avoid injury to pedestrians, other drivers, self and/or damage to materials.
Manage the loading and unloading of trucks including using forklift.
Operation of overhead crane
Other duties may be assigned.

Job Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent. Â
Ability to organize work, meet deadlines and work with accuracy.  Â
Strong verbal and written communication skills.  Â
Ability to operate standard computer and scanner equipment. Â
Ability to safely operate dock equipment, Forklift and pallet jacks. Â
Working knowledge of SAP System as it pertains to material movements. 
Hiring Hourly Range:
$19.25 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) This position includes a competitive benefits package. The posted salary range reflects the target compensation for this role.
