We are hiring a Warehouse Material Handler – Inventory Control & Logistics to support warehouse operations, inventory management, material handling, and shipping activities in a manufacturing environment. This role requires experience with inventory accuracy, warehouse operations, computer systems, forklift operation, and material movement while maintaining compliance with safety, quality, and inventory control procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, route, and store materials according to established warehouse and inventory control procedures.
- Conduct inventory counts and inspections, reporting damaged, deteriorated, or missing materials.
- Pick, issue, package, and prepare materials and hardware for shipment.
- Review production schedules to ensure materials and inventory are available to support manufacturing requirements.
- Analyze material requirements and coordinate solutions to resolve inventory shortages or scheduling issues.
- Maintain inventory accuracy while supporting material planning, configuration control, and warehouse operations.
- Order parts, tools, materials, and equipment as needed to support operational requirements.
- Comply with all company policies related to safety, housekeeping, tool control, Foreign Object Debris (FOD), inventory control, contracts, and facility procedures.
- Operate safely while wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Work any assigned shift and perform duties in varying weather and physical working conditions.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support operational and business objectives.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 1 year of warehouse, inventory, or material handling experience.
- Experience maintaining inventory accuracy and material accountability.
- Computer proficiency with inventory or warehouse management systems.
- Current forklift certification or the ability to obtain a forklift license.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
- Ability to work all assigned shifts and perform duties in warehouse and industrial environments.
