We're thrilled to welcome a Project Manager to our team in San Bernardino, CA! This role offers you the opportunity to be a key member of our project management team, supporting design-build renovation and capital improvement projects. This individual will play a critical role in overseeing project planning, design coordination, construction administration, stakeholder communication, and overall project execution from initiation through closeout.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate communication and manage stakeholders, including facility staff, project coordinators, contractors, design professionals, consultants, and regulatory agencies.
  • Prepare and present written reports, presentations, meeting minutes, and other project documentation related to project status, risks, schedule, and budget.
  • Support projects throughout planning, design, permitting, construction, commissioning, and closeout phases.
  • Review and coordinate RFIs, submittals, schedules, change orders, pay applications, and other project documentation.
  • Manage field activities to ensure work is completed in accordance with project requirements, schedule, and quality expectations.
  • Monitor project budgets, schedules, risks, and overall project performance.
  • Coordinate with project teams to identify and resolve constructability, schedule, cost, and operational issues.
  • Facilitate project meetings and maintain project reporting, logs, and document controls.
  • Manage and monitor the pace and schedule of the project in conjunction with office-based cost and schedule support.
  • Provide strong document and project controls, including monitoring project risks, quality issues, and potential cost/schedule impacts.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in construction project management.
  • Prior experience supporting design-build projects required.
  • Experience with renovations, public works, municipal, civic, or capital improvement projects is a plus
  • Strong understanding of construction administration, project controls, cost management, and scheduling.
  • Experience reviewing RFIs, submittals, schedules, and change orders.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel user and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required.

Compensation: $135,000 - $160,000
