POSITION SUMMARY 

Perform all tasks involved in the production of Country Archer’s products. This includes shipping and receiving products while using forklifts to aid in distribution of products. Follow standard work methods and practice safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible. Must comply with regulations set forth by Country Archer and USDA. All warehouse employees must work together to meet overall goal of 99% inventory accuracy and 99.5% picking accuracy. Will need to be able to lift, push, and pull items between 15 and 50 pounds. Position requires standing for long periods of time, walking, bending, squatting, sitting, and twisting frequently. 


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Pick all orders scheduled for shipment.
  • Double check orders for accuracy.
  • Report inventory discrepancies to warehouse lead.
  • Provide logistics with accurate finished pick tickets. All lot codes must be documented on pick tickets.
  • Request or create placards for finished ready to ship pallets.
  • Assemble all shippers and place them in designated area until ready for use.
  • Process all sales sample orders daily while working with logistics to ensure accuracy.
  • Assist in the loading and unloading process of all shipments in a timely and efficient manner. 
  • Inspect forklift equipment before each shift and report any mechanical issues
  • Maintain warehouse areas organized by putting all items in their designated bin locations.
  • Sweep and clean entire warehouse area and dispose of all trash at end of shift.
  • Must follow all GMP’s and company rules.
  • Support general warehouse operations and perform other duties as assigned. 


Experience:

  • 2 years’ warehouse experience
  • Stand-up Reach experience
  • Experience with RF Scanners and WMS
  • Proficient in basic math skills to accurately receive, count, verify, and record inventory and materials.
  • Able to work in a production area with fast moving equipment, moderate to high noise levels and intermediate temperature changes.
  • Routinely displays the ability to perform critical thinking processes.
  • Strong communication skills; able to interact professionally and empathetically with staff and customers.
  • Provide a safe work environment, ensuring compliance with government safety and other regulations. Includes training, injury reporting and investigation, hazard correction, industrial hygiene and record keeping.
