Job SummaryĀ
The Machine Operator ā Collator/PackerĀ is responsible forĀ operatingĀ and maintaining collating equipment, troubleshooting issues, and performing packing activities. This role ensures that production targets are met whileĀ maintainingĀ high standardsĀ of safety, quality, and efficiency.
Work schedule: Mon-Fri 5:00am-1:30pm
Key ResponsibilitiesĀ
Machine Operation & SetupĀ

Operate collating machines to meet production standardsĀ
-
Troubleshoot equipment issues andĀ make adjustments toĀ maintainĀ quality and productivityĀ

Set up machines, including glue and plastic componentsĀ
-
Load andĀ operateĀ bulk feeder assembliesĀ
Packing & Material HandlingĀ
-
Pack collated nails into boxes (35ā95Ā lbs)Ā
-
Inspect nail strips prior to packing to ensure quality standardsĀ
-
Assemble and close cardboard boxesĀ
-
Stack completed boxes onto palletsĀ
-
Apply proper labels to finished productĀ
Equipment & ToolsĀ

Operate forklift to move completed palletsĀ
-
Operate staple gun and other packaging toolsĀ
Quality, Safety & ReportingĀ

Inspect product quality and ensure compliance with specificationsĀ

Accurately record and report production dataĀ

Follow quality procedures and safety policies, including PPEĀ

Maintain a clean and safe work environmentĀ
General DutiesĀ

QualificationsĀ

Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experienceĀ
